International Commercial Mediation Program

The Sri Lankan ICC Paris 2022 Team from APIIT Law School

The first of its kind in Sri Lanka, the ICM Program is delivered to expand the pool of trained ADR professionals in Mediation by contributing towards the development of the next generation of young, skilled Mediation and Mediation Advocates and conclusively create future leaders of the ADR arena.

Phase I of the ICM Program enables students to learn and develop their skills in International Commercial Mediation via our holistic 24-hour training program developed and delivered by the best scholars in the world of Mediation internationally and locally. Selected students then partake in Phase II where students put their learned skills to the test in simulated mediations at the MCB National Commercial Mediation Competition.

The team(s) that are selected after the MCB National Commercial Mediation Competition gain the opportunity of being trained by the Moot Court Bench to represent Sri Lanka at prestigious international platforms such as the ICC Paris Commercial Mediation Competition.
